Fixing Misaligned Cabinets

Ever had a cabinet that just wouldn't close properly? Well its actually not your fault! In this short guide, I'll show you how to fix the hinge to have a properly working cabinet.

The tools for this instructable are pretty simple. On almost all adjustable hinges, there is simply a philips screw head.

The screw you will be turning should be in the middle of the ones attaching the door to the cabinet and it will be closest to the door. View the picture for a better understanding.

With a screw driver, slowly adjust the screw and test the door. If you see change in the position, great! If not, maybe try the other screw. You may need to try turning both ways for the hinge to adjust in the correct direction. I had to turn my screw right to make the gap smaller.
