Fixing Car Remote Key Ring

The plastic end of my car remote has broken off long ago. I won't bore you with the details of how often I've misplaced the remote or my keys.

I don't have a regular pair of scissors but the powerful plant trimmer will work fine. I'm also going to use a simple plastic straw.

First I place the straw in between the notch on the remote.

I then have my cat investigate and approve of the placement as I cut the straw.

Next I begin with one half of the Sugru on the tip of the remote. I place the straw in the notch again and press in on the other side of the remote. My cat is still observing but annoyed with the camera flash.

I have completed the loop but feel that it may not be enough and so I add more Sugru to the ends.

After adding to the tips I remove the straw and let the Sugru set.
