Five Section Parting
Everything you do to the hair, you have to start somewhere, and that is sectioning off the hair. Today, I will show you how to do a Five Section Parting. You use this when it comes to haircuts, dying, and even washing the hair.
Supplies
Things you will need
- Five hair clips
- Pin tail Comb
- Wide-tooth Comb
Where to Begin
What you want to do first is use the Wide-tooth Comb and comb out the hair.
"mohawk Part"
Next, you want to take the pin tail comb and create your first section at the top of the head called the "mohawk part." Imagine it looking like a box on the top of your head; once you have it sectioned, you want to clip it up.
Left Sectioning
Then, you want to take the hair's top left section and clip it to the side. It should look like a box, and the part should end behind the ear.
Right Sectioning
Then, you want to part the hair's right section and clip it to the side. Once you are done, it should look the same as the left Section you just did.
Final Sectioning
Then, you want to section the back of the rest of the hair by taking the pin tail comb and running down the middle to create the last two sections. Clip those two sections up and you're done.
Final Results
Once you complete the sectioning, you have the hair how you need to cut, dye, or wash.
