This is a great indoor project to do with the kids during the summer when it's too hot to play outside.

Step 1

Place the bill on a table in front of you with Lincoln facing up. Fold the bottom right corner up to the top edge. Crease. Unfold and then fold the top right corner down to the bottom edge. Crease and unfold.

Step 2

At the point where the 2 diagonal folds meet, fold the right side over toward the center.

Now push the corners in so they meet between the layers of the 5 dollar bill.

Crease the folds gently with your fingernail.

Step 3

Take the left side of the 5 dollar bill and fold over so it meets the right edge.
Fold the corners on the left side into the center, crease and then unfold.

Now fold the top edge down to the center, make sure you do not fold the points on the right side.
Fold the bottom edge up toward the center in the same manner

Crease.

Step 4

Fold the left side toward the center allowing the letter "D" to show in the middle.

Find the 2 corners that meet just under the edge that you just folded. One at a time, pull the corners out as you hold onto the bill in the center left side. Press the folds down and crease.

Step 5

Turn the frog over, right side up, with the nose at the right side.

Make 2 folds in the middle of the frog about 1/4" apart, so that the front half of the frog overlaps the back half.

Step 8

Now here's the fun part. Make your frog jump!

Set your index finger lighty on the back end of the frog. Slide your finger back as you press down gently. As soon as your finger slips off the frog, it will jump forward a couple of inches.
