That's right, for all of you two-wheeler's out there who like to fish, you can now combine both for a great adventure! This is a very easy  and cheap DIY that holds your pole on surprisingly well. I have tested it on a 40 mile trip and at high speeds; it doesn't budge! You will need:

flathead screwdriver
1 rubberized pipe connector, 1 1/2 in diameter
1 collapsible fishing pole
1 rubber band (optional)

you can buy the pipe connector at home depot for $3.97 (make sure it's rubberized!)

Attach Connector to Bike

Find a place on your bike to orient your pole where it is out of the way of your riding space. The rearstep on mine worked great because it allowed the pole to fit to the shape of my bike.

Secure at least one of the two locking clasps to the frame. I only had room to secure one clasp, but one clasp is all you will need.

You will use one locking clasp to secure the pole, while the other clasp secures the pole and the connector to the frame.

Secure Pole

Collapse your fishing pole and put both pieces in the connector.

Secure connector by using a screwdriver and tighten until if feels secure.

Tighten some more.

You are ready to fish!

*You can use a rubber band to keep the rod tip from wobbling in the wind.
