Today was my first time making candles and as a cat lover and owner, I decided to shape them into a cat and one of its best-loved food -fish. In this instructable, I will share with you my detailed trial of making a cat-shaped candle and a recap of making the fish-shaped one.

Supplies

Generally, I don't like to buy new supplies for artwork but rather I search my home for any materials that can be reused, and here are what I found:

Ingredients:

  • 2 old candles (15 grams each).
  • Crayons ( blue, dark blue, and brown).

Tools:

  • 2 Aluminum foil plates.
  • Pen and paper.
  • Coffee pot.
  • Pan filled with water.
  • Stove.

Draw a cat with a height of around 7 cm on a piece of paper then place it on the aluminum foil plate after that trace the drawing with a pen.

Punch out the inside of the drawing using the pen base then punch twice on the front legs to make them pop out more.
