Fish Silk Thread Ear Rings

These are silk thread ear rings made with threads and sequins.

S shaped sequins

Pass the eye pin through the ear ring hole and bend it at required length.

From backside bend the wire at an angle and wind it around the eye and press it at the back as shown in image and cut the extra wire at the back after finishing the loop. Follow the arrow marks in the image.

Note: Make sure the loop is tight.

Take four strands of each color and glue them together at one end and wind them around the ring to cover it fully using glue to ensure the threads stays in place.

Note : Always apply glue to the backside of the ring to avoid glue stains. Use fabric glue or any glue that dries transparent and soft.

Bend jewelry wire into fish shape and arrange these S shaped sequins to form a fish tail. Make sure the fish should fit the base ring.

Take 6 strands of plain orange thread and wrap it around the fish base by gluing whenever required. Make sure the threads stay intact. Black dot sticker will be the eye. S shaped sequins should be added one by one as in image. I used S shaped sequins to achieve the natural feel of tail.

Take 20 or more strands of shaded orange thread (to achieve the thickness covering the tail) and glue it at the tail starting place and glue it to the rest of the tail following the tail shape. Now glue sequins covering the threads started at tail. Overlap the previous sequin line in each step and cover them till the area shown in image. Glue the finished fish on blue base.

Make another one in the same manner. Take the crystal stud or any stud of your choice and insert the fish hanging we just made as shown in image.
