Fire Snake

Create a fire snake with your daughter or son as an educational science experiment!
NOTE: If done indoors, make sure to clear a surface large enough for a six-inch flame
You will need:
Ingredients
2 capfuls rubbing alcohol
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 teaspoon powdered sugar
Materials
Plastic Plate
Plastic Bowl
Aluminum Foil
Lighter
Fork

Wrap a large plate in aluminum foil

Mix baking soda and powdered sugar in bowl
*Recommended ratio of 1:4 teaspoons, respectively
*Recommended ratio of 1:4 teaspoons, respectively

Pour 1.5 capfuls of alcohol into the powdered mixture
Mix with a fork until the powder and alcohol become paste
Mix with a fork until the powder and alcohol become paste
Place the paste mixture in the plate's center

Flatten the paste with fork

Light the flattened paste on fire

Watch as the darkened paste grows!
