Finger Chop Sticks
I despise getting my fingers wet, greasy, or dirty. Even more so when typing, writing, or gaming using any device.
The problem is, most people like me still enjoy snacking with chips or the occasional small food. This makes eating while multitasking difficult, as a napkin or towel is always needed in-between bites. This can be cumbersome and take up a lot of precious time given enough bites.
The Chipsticks solve this conundrum by allowing the user to have two additional chopsticks attached to one's hand, freeing up the actual finger to do other tasks. This keeps the hands mess, grease, and crumb free when touching other devices and makes napkins unnecessary.
The Chipsticks can of course be used by more than just busy workers. Gamers that don't wish to waste time can use them to maximize efficiency during games. The Elderly can also greatly benefit from the simplified use of these chopstick-like utensils if they are losing the coordination they once used for regular chopsticks.
Overall the Chipsticks make life easier and simpler for a variety of people of all ages and backgrounds all through an easily 3D printed design.
Supplies
Supplies / Requirements:
- 3D Printer
- 3D Printer Filament
- Well ventilated room / work-station
- Pliers (Recommended)
- 1 Hour
- The file provided below (export as an STL) :
Printing
As previously stated, this design is deceptively simple and is able to be quickly printed by any standard 3D printer with any proper filament used. All that is needed is to upload the design file to the 3D printer, feed the filament material into the printer, and allow the printer to make the design in about an hour.
I advise to provide adequate ventilation for the 3D printer as it is crucial to ensure a safe and healthy printing environment. It is important to always be safe regardless of how minor you may believe risks to be.
A copy of the required file is also provided in this step.

Cleaning
When the printer finishes, there will be some supports that were added by the printer to the design in order to more easily print it. These supports can be removed by hand but I recommend pliers for a more efficient process.
Enjoying!
After the supports are removed, the Chipsticks can immediately be used! Simply place the two ring-like grooves in between the index and middle finger. Then just lightly squeeze the two finger together as if you were closing your hand and the Chipsticks will grab whatever you desire.
