First of all we have to find some wood leaves for the mid deck of the table...
I found some from a wood pallete..
I cut them in tow equal pieces...
I sand them with the mouse sander...
We make one hole on every side of the leave so to be able to screw them to the body....
We use for this a drilling machine...

Second we have to pull out the deck of the table...

We take care of it we don't throw it...(we will use it when we will finish the table)

We start with the mouse sander and we sand all the surfaces of the wood...
So we do with all the other woods. The legs and the pallete leaves...
After we are sure we sand the woods correctly and carefully we are ready to go to the next step...

Applying the First Layer "VELATURA"

DSC02241.JPG
After the praparation we have to blow out all the remaining dusts from the woods...

When we are ready and sure that the woods are completely clean from dusts
we apply a layer of a velatura for the legs , the pallete leaves and the main board of the table(we will use it when we will finish the table)
We wait for a couple of hours and we apply a second layer of velatura to all of them....
We leave it for at least 8 hours so to be completely dry....

Applying the Final Layer "WOOD PAINT"

After the first layer has completely been dry we go on the seccond and last layer....

We apply a layer of a paint black for the legs and the main board of the table(we will use it when we will finish the table) and red for the leaves...
We wait for a couple of hours and we apply a second layer of paint to all of them....
We leave it for at least 8 hours....

Assembly the Parts

Now we are ready to assembly the table...
We take the red wood leaves and we plase it over the legs of the table...
We screw them with the screws and the drilling machine there through the holes we have already made in a previews step.

We place some suction caps on the legs end in the middle of the table...
We place over the glass...
We draw a feng shui sign on a paper and we put it under the glass and tape it...
We draw with the glass paint following the paper sign...

We are ready to enjoy it ready...

Lay Back and Enjoy the Work
