Felt Flowers

I am so excited over these felt flowers because of two reasons. First, they are super easy to make and look really pretty. Secondly, you can use these felt flowers almost everywhere! I attach them to my party hats but I can see them on a wreath, as a brooch, or as a party decoration.
You will need:
Felt (I used craft felt, but wool felt has a much better look and feel)
Sharp Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Step 1

Cut out a circle. You can use something as a template or just eye it. It absolutely ok if it's imperfect.
The size of the finished flower will depend on the size of the circle.
Make sure you are working on a clean surface since felt is a magnet for lint.
Step 2

Start somewhere on the circle of felt and cut out a spiral, stopping at the centre. Keep the width consistent.
Snip the pointy tip, to make all edges round.
Step 3

Start rolling from the pointy end. Make sure you align the inward edge and while the outward edge will be irregular. When you are finished and have only a little circle left, it it time to get gluing!
Step 4

You will use hot glue to hold the flower together. Place a dab of hot glue on the spiral end and press the leftover circle end over the glue.
Your flower is done!
If the bottom is too large for the look of the flower, simply cut it off.
