Felt Christmas Ornaments

These are a fun and simple hand-sewn craft, good for gifts or to sell. Feel free to decorate them as you like.

Materials

What you'll need:

green, white and red felt

white embroidery floss

sewing needle

6 inches of white ribbon

6 small white buttons

padding

sharpie

hot glue

cup and glue stick for tracing

scissors

Cut Out Felt Circles.

Use a cup to trace with sharpie a circle onto green felt and and cut out two of these circles. Then trace around a glue stick six times onto red felt and cut out.

Glue Red Circles Onto One of the Green Circles. Then Sew White Buttons Onto Each Red Felt Circle.

Sew Together.

Cut out 1 circle of padding slightly smaller than the red circles. Also cut out a 1/2 in by 1/2 in white felt square and sew on the top between the red circles. Place the padding between the red circles and use blanket stitch to sew them together.

Glue on Ribbon.

Use hotglue to fasten the white ribbon to the top of ornament, and it is complete.
