I Started off with a brass fitting, a cap nut and a blue topas stone

I used a hacksaw and Sandpaper to get a workable sice. Next i screwed the nut on and put in in the handdrill chuck. This made it a lot better to sand and file down to a good sice. And i added a little ledge to solder it to the ring later.

Solder

I only had a small torche at hand which made it hard to solder. Because it melted the flux, but till it was hot enough to solder there was already some oxides as you see :D.

Shaping

Now i got to the shaping. I Carved it round with my trusty Aliexpress (Dremmel) and made 3 Arms wich later should hold down the Stone. Sadly the Material Broke at two of them so i later had to remove them completely.

Polishing

Now i polished the ring again with Sandpaper first and then with the multitool.

Finishing Up

This step should be placing the stone and bending the arms over... now its glueing the stone in.
