Fast and easy step in Making 2d Batman head with Clay

White Clay

form the round shape in white clay and flatten it.

Make a slit on the left side of the clay and also one on the right side.

Push the middle part a little bit downward, so that it will create a cat-like shape.

Make a strip out of the black clay. It will be used to create an outline for the face profile of Batman.

Make an outline of Batman's eyes and chick using the Black Clay.

Using the remaining strip of Black Clay, fill in the portion as seen in the image reference.

Using another strip of Black Clay, make an outline of the black portion of the jawline. See reference image.

I added a pinch of black clay in the eyes and filled in the face with another white clay to achieve the realistic effect of Batman's face.

Re-shape the face as you think it is close to the reference you have. It will take a little time to get the shape of the face right. But you can do it with patience and trust in your instinct.
