1 Tbs salt
A - Mix Yest, sugar, milk , water and 2 cups of flour for about 2 minutes and cover with a cling wrap loose ly and leave to fement
In the mean time
B - Peel and coarsely chop the apples, and coarsely chop the walnuts.
In a bowl combine the apples, walnuts, currents, oil, egg, cinnamon, mace, salt , all spices and 1 Cup of flour.Mix well
C - Your 1 hr should be up now...Combine the Fermented mixture with the fruity mixture and mix ...add flour cup by cup until the dough clears
the side of the bowl.
Turn dough in to lightly floured surface and kneed till smooth and springy.
Add 1 tbs at a time while kneading if sticky.
Place dough in a greased tin and then flip it over so that its coated all over
Cover with plastic wrap and leave it at room temperature till it doubles it's size...approximately 1 hour.
D - Gently deflate and shape it into any shape you want on a baking tray. Leave it to rise a little and then bake .
I would say bake in 300 degrees...but i have found out each ones oven is different..so bake like you would bake a cake....and check in
15 minutes.
Serve with butter...the nuts and raisins are delicious !
