Farmhouse Rustic Crochet Round Jute Placemat

Farmhouse Rustic Crochet Round Jute Placemat.jpg

Crochet Patterns made with Jute twine are beautiful to look at and they are extremely strong , durable and sturdy. They add a beautiful rustic feel to the finished projects. There are various projects you can make with a just twine. They work the best for everyday use projects like Bags, Baskets, Rugs and Placemats.

Today am sharing the pattern for Farmhouse Rustic Crochet Round Jute Placemat. This is a part of the 2023 Giftstravaganza Blog Hop which is being hosted by Marie from Underground Crafter. The Pattern is easy to go made with simple stitches. This placemat will be great for adding a chic element to your table setting.

You might find the Jute twine a bit rough and scratchy on your fingers to work with. Hence I used a Crochet Tension Ring. They are just awesomely smooth and easy for making the crochet stitches. Its fun and worth making Crochet Projects with Jute Twines and Cords.

It is just that , you don't finish the Double Crochet Stitch and continue doing the first part of the Double Crochet Stitch again and again). You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  2. Yarn over, insert the hook in the same stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.
  3. Continue with the first part of Double Crochet stitch untill you have 4 loops on the hook.
  4. Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
