Fall Squirrel Knitting Pattern
This little squirrel is about 3 inches high it is a great fall decoration or toy for a child be careful to sew on the pieces on well if giving it to a small child. I made this because I love watching squirrels out the window. this is based on Beatrice Potter's pictures in her book. Enjoy making this for yourself friends or selling them!

The Tail
Using yarn A wrap it around your hand 40 times. have another piece of yarn ready and tie it around the middle as tightly as you can several times knotting it securely. Then cut all the loops and trim it to your desired shape and size.
Sew It All Together
Sew up and stuff the body, head, arms, and feet. Then sew the head to the body. I then sewed the on the feet. Then i put on the coat. I added a little bow under his chin. I next embroidered on a face and added the ears by sewing several loops in the same place. I then sewed on the arms make sure to sew through the coat and into the body. Lastly I sewed on the tail.
Show Off Your Work!
You made it! I hope you had fun making this. This would make a great decoration on the Thanksgiving table, or work well as a Christmas ornament, or as a toy, or just a year round decoration.
