Fake Grill Marks.
Wanted to have fancy grill marks without having to purchase a fancy pan. You can see that grill marls come pretty quickly.
What do we need:
A steak.
Cheap cookie pans from the cookie store. (next time, I will get the sturdier ones.)
Stove.
Pan
Scissors.
Cooking oil
What to do:
Cur off the sides of the cookie pan.
Cut an oval out of the bottom
Fold the bottom like an accordion making sure the sharp edges are pointing up.
Spread our the accordion in 1/4 to 1/2 inch spacing. (The weight of the steaks will spread them apart.)
Lay the accordion in the pan.
Grease it a bit with your favorite cooking oil.
Cooks the steak as normal, but be sure to rotate the steak so that you get the crosshatch burn marks.
Eat.
