Fairy Cupcakes

This is one of our old family recipes for one of the easiest and tastiest cupcakes ever!
It is great for morning or afternoon tea, party's, lunchboxes, desserts or when ever you feel like it!
And one of the best things about it is that it is such a quick and easy recipe!
This recipe will make 12 of these tasty cakes!




You Will Need

Cupcakes.JPG
You will need:
1/2cup of Milk
3 Eggs
1 1/2 cups of Self raising flour
1 cup of Caster sugar
1 teaspoon of Vanilla essence
180g of Butter (melted)
200ml of Cream
Any fruit jam (strawberry, 4 fruits or apricot jam)
Icing sugar

Also
One mixing bowl
A spoon
Measuring cups/spoons 
Paper Cupcake pans
Cupcake tray
Electric Mixer
butter knife
Cooking time: 15-20 minutes
Preparation time: 8-12 minutes

Mix It All Together!

Now mix the butter, vanilla essence, sugar and eggs all together in a electric mixer, then add the flour and milk and mix until well combined and that there is no lumps of flour, it should be thick and a light yellow color.

In to the Oven!

Put the paper cupcake pans into the cupcake tray and evenly spoon the mixture into them until you run out,  there should be enough for about 2 tablespoons for each pan, then put in a oven at 160'c for about 15 minutes but don't open the oven until your sure their cooked.

Whip the Cream

While the cakes cool, whip the cream in a electric mixer with a little bit of icing sugar until its nice and thick.

Fill With Jam and Cream!

Now using a knife carefully cut a short cone shape out off the middle of the top (look at photo) take this out and cut in half down the middle, put half a teaspoon of jam in the hole then fill to the top with cream, then use the cone you cut in half to make wings (look at photo) and sprinkle with icing sugar.
