We have moved to our new home this summer and I was eagerly looking forward to decorating my kitchen with some creative and innovative ideas. I have seen a bunch of stickers, decoupage and other such ideas. I myself have made a bunch of these. But, something new and nice that struck my mind was this unique decoration using fabric with the no-sew technique. The other motivation was to have a name for the contents in the bottle. Plus I was looking for something that doesn't get washed away with water or is easy to maintain. That's how I clicked the key to this project. Simplicity and budget friendly projects inspire me the most. Time to get started!at

Supplies

  1. Multi-colored fabric cloth
  2. Glass jars (4 for sample only)
  3. Jute and cotton twine bundles - 1 each
  4. Scissors
  5. Color papers
  6. Pen

Can You Find?

Just look at these two jars and can you confidently what's the content in the two jars? Can't say? Neither can I. Now let's label it to make my life easy and for anyone who explores some cooking in my kitchen.

I cut 1 inch width by 12 inches length strips with the multi-colored fabric.

On some multi-colored post-it, I neatly wrote penned down the names for the labels. 2 labels on one piece of paper.

Then, I carefully tied the jute twine on the top side then neatly placed the matching labels on the jar.

Just as the jute twine, I tied the other 2 jars with the white cotton twine.
