FORMcard Personalised Keyring
FORMcard is great for taking accurate impressions and can even be used as a mould. We will show how to use it to make a personalised keyring, with leaf imprints but you can use the same principal to create your own unique keepsakes!
Step 1: Equipment
To make this keyring you will need:
1. Glass jug of hot water
2. Glass plate or similar to work on
3. FORMcard
4. Metal spoon
5. A selection of leaves
Get your FORMcard from www.formcard.com
Step 2
Drop your FORMcard into hot water.
Step 3
Leave to soften slightly (you don't want it to lose the card form). Retrieve using a metal spoon, be careful as the material will be hot.
Step 4
Place your FORMcard onto your glass plate.
Step 5
Gently press your leaves into the surface of your FORMcard.
Step 6
Ensure that all parts of the leaf have been pressed into the FORMcard. Remove each leaf gently.
Step 7
Leave your FORMcard to cool completely.
Step 8
You now have a beautiful, personalised keyring! Don't forget you can also use FORMcard to take impressions of all kinds of objects, it is perfect for making unique keepsakes.
