This project is designed to feed digital circuits that work at 5v and also for projects that require at least 5V1A consumption.

Like any project, we start with the simulation of the circuit and also with the circuit breadboard tests, since this is how we deduce that this circuit can work for the realization of professional PCBs.

FUNCTIONING

Like any project, we start with the simulation of the circuit and also with the circuit breadboard tests, since this is how we deduce that this circuit can work for the realization of professional PCBs.

First we will have to know what our circuit will do in this case, to know what function we are doing it for, the power supplies, we can see it in all household appliances, radios, everything that contains electronics needs an energy source that can supply said circuit.

There are several types of sources in this case for our project we will design our power supply with a step-down transformer, that is, the transformer will reduce the AC from 220V to 12VAC, then we will need to rectify our sine wave to a constant wave to obtain 5VDC.

We will see the wave rectification in this case, firstly the transformer will give us a sinusoidal wave and it will go through 4 rectifying diodes that will convert them into a pulsating wave, letting the positive half cycles pass, but even so it will not help us since it is not straight or constant, then it will go through a filter this filter will allow us to leave only small curls but even so it is still not straight and it is unnecessary to be able to feed our projects since they require a straight and constant signal and that is where the regulator enters this in turn allows us to regulate the voltage and give us and a straight and constant signal thus obtaining at its output 5V 1A since the diodes allow only 1A to pass if we need more current we can modify the diodes and the regulator to obtain greater current or greater fixed voltage that we need to use for our circuits.

After we tested that our circuit works we will go to the EASYEDA page for the creation of our professional PCB.

In the first image we can see the circuit diagram equal to the proteus simulation diagram that we made for our simulation.

In this case I recommend EasyEda for the creation of PCbs because it has a complete library of all the components that we will use to create our development board.

Then we will go to make the route or creation of the tracks where we can choose the thickness and placement of the electronic components as well as the screen printing.

and finally we will obtain a 3D image of our circuit created for the realization of our professional PCB.
