FFIX Vivi Stuffed Toy

I'm going to share with you a little project i did for a birthday present.

It has a difficult thing because i didn't have pattern. So i had to make all from zero.

I'm going to explain it better i can, because my memory It was't like should be xD.

Before i start, to make this toy you're going to need to know how to do mirror stitch

Yellow yarn
White yarn
Blue yarn
Light blue yarn
Brown yarn

2 mm hook
Needle
A lot of patience

Tip: stuff while you're crocheting.
1. 6st Magic ring.
2. Increase 6st per row untill you get 54st:
Row 1: 12
Row 2: 18
Row 3: 24
Row 4: 30
Row 5: 36
Row 6: 42
Row 7: 48
Row 8: 54
3. Row 9-13: 54st
4. Row 14: decrease 6st: 48
5. Row 15-16: 48
6. Row 17: decrease 6st: 42
7. Row 18: decrease 6st: 36
8. Row 19: 36
9. Row 20: decrease 6st: 30
10. Row 21-24: 30st
11. Row 25: Decrease 6st: 24
12. Row 26: Decrease 6st: 18
13. Row 27: 18st
14. Row 28: decrease 6st: 12

Stuff tightly.

5. R21: decrease 6st: 12

7. Fasten off and stuff tightly.

Yellow, Brown and White yarn.
Sole part:

Yellow yarn

1. 10st chain
2. R1: 10st and 10 st on below part of chain making a ring. Total: 20st.
3. R2: Increase 2st on each Edge: 24st
4. R3: Increase 2st on each Edge: 28st
5. R4: Increase 2st on each Edge: 32st
6. R5: 32st on external loop
7. Fasten off.

Boot part:

Brown yarn

1. Begin to crochet on internal loop of last row of Sole. Total 32st.
2. R2: 32st
3. R3: decrease 2st on front part: 30st
4. R4: decrease 2st on front: 28
5. R5: decrease 2st on front: 26
6. R6: decrease 2st on front: 24
7. R7-9: 24st
10. Fasten off. Stuff lightly only on base, because on ankle part we're going to insert leg part.

Boot belt part:

Brown yarn

1. 30st chain.
2. 30st
3. Fasten off

Buckle:

White yarn

1. 4st chain and fasten. Make 2.
2. 3st chain and fasten. Make 2.

White and light blue yarn.

For this part we need mirror stitch.

One row normal st Next mirror stitch.

1. 32st chain on white
2. R2-3: 32st
3. R4-6: 32 st on blue
4. R7-9: 32 st on White
5. R10-11: 32st on blue.
6. R12: 16st on blue.
7. R13-15: 16st on White
8. R16: 16st + 16st chain on blue.
9. R17-18: 32st on blue
10. R19-21: 32st on White
11. R22-24: 32st on blue
12. R25-27: 32 on White
13. R28-30: 32 on blue
14. R31-33: 32 on White
15. R34-35: 32 on blue
16. R36: 16st on blue
17. R37-39: 16st on White
18. R40: 16st + 16st chain on blue
19. R41-42: 32st on blue
20. R43-45: 32st on White
21. R46-48: 32st on blue. Fasten off.
22. Join start and end of part with White yarn.
23. For inside part of jeans. Leg part use blue ir White color to join.

Brown and White yarn

Belt:

1. 56st chain
2. 56st + 56st on below part, making a row.
3. Fasten.

Buckle:

1. 6st chain on White. Make 2.
2. 4st chain on White. Make 2.
3. Sew them together making a rectangle.

If all we do is making parts, It will be boring, right? Satisfaction is on see your work growing step by step.

So now we're going to sew all parts together.

1. Sew legs to them body part.
2. Dress It with jeans and sew waist part.
3. Insert legs on boots. Make sure if It can stand by itself, otherwise stuff more ir less each boot as It need It.
4. Sew boot to leg.
5. Put boot belt around boot and sew It leaving few stitches loose.
6. If you didn't make them buckle, do It now and sew It on external side of boot and over belt.

Now we make almost a half of this toy.

Fingers
Brown yarn

1. 3st Magic ring.
2. R1-3: 3st. Fasten.
Make 3 more.
1. 4st Magic ring.
2. R1-3: 4st. Fasten

1. On last st of 3st finger, make 1st chain and join to other 3st finger. Do a st and 1 chain and join to 3rd finger. Do the same with 4th.
2. Do stitches around last finger and follow the línea till you reach 1st finger. At least It have to have 2 st per finger and 1st on edges. Total:10. But on edges yo can and 2st more. Total 12.
3. Make a row.
4. Decrease 1st on each Edge.
5. Decrease 1st on each Edge.
6. If you are doing right hand put 4st finger at left side and join to this row. If its left hand join It to right side.
7. Make a row and decrease an st on joint of palm and finger.
8. Make a row.
9. Decrease 1st on each Edge.
10. At this point you should have at least 12 st. We're going to do gauntlet part.
11. 2 rows 12 st (or 13-14st what yo have)
12. 1 row 12st only on the external loop.
13. 3 rows 12st normal. Fasten.
14. Stuff gauntlet.

Now we start arm part on internal loops of row we use the external loop (see image) un black colour.
1. R1-17: 12st. Keep stuffing.
2. R18: decrease 6st: 6st. Fasten.
Stuff tightly.

Once you have them finished, you can sew It to body part.

We're almost done a half part and the easiest xD.

Black yarn.

1. 6st Magic ring.
2. R1: Increase 6st: 12
3. R2: Increase 6st: 18
4. R3: Increase 6st: 24
5. R4: Increase 6st: 30
6. R5: 30
7. R6: Increase 6st: 36
8. R7: 36
9. R8: increase 6st: 42
10. R9-13: 42
11. R14: decrease 6st: 36
12. R15: 36
13. R16: decrease 6st: 30
14. R17: decrease 6st: 24
14. R18: 24
16. R19: decrease 6st: 18
17. R20: 18
18. R21: decrease 6st: 12
19. R22-24: 12. Fasten.
Stuff tightly even on neck part.

Sew It to body part.

To me the most difficult part.

It has a lot of parts.

A. Front and half of black part.
Blue yarn
Mirror stitch.

Right front part.

R1: 10st
Nexts rows Increase one stitch st left part. In normal stitch is at end and on mirrowed is at the beggining. Untill row 15.
R16: when you reach end of row. Fasten It.

Left front part
We're going to do a mirrowed part of this.
R1: 10st.
In mirrowed row Increase is st the end and on normal row is st the beggining. Untill row 15. Fasten.

Now continue row 16 of right front part. Make chain around body waist 'till half and join left part to this row.

R17-23: make rows with no Increase ir decrease.
R24: 8st
R25-27: 8st
R28: Increase 1st at end. 9st
R29: 9st
R30: Increase 1st st end. 10 st. Fasten.

Go black to r24. On left front part count 8st front right to left and put a Mark there. Leave 6-7 st empties and put another Mark there.
Now on right front part, on row 24, left empty 6-7 st and Jeep doing that row untill you reach the Mark.
R25: Increase 1st at the beggining and at the end. Jeep doing that untill you reach row 30.
Them fasten.

Now we have to do the same we did with right front part, on left side.
Take Mark as start point and do 8st on r24. This is mirrowed stitch.
R25-27: 8st.
R28: Increase 1st at beggining. 9st
R29: 9st
R30: Increase 1st at beggining. 10st. Fasten.

Now we have to sew shoulder parts.

Start again from right front side r30.
Make 2 rows all around Pierce. We're doing neck part.
In the Next 4 rows we're going to Increase 1st st the beggining and at the end un each row.
Fasten.
Leave a very long thread to make a row on Edge of coat. It gives a more profesional looking of Pierce. (See images).

B. Arm part.

This is easy.

Start in a point you want on hole we left on the coat to insert arms.

Make rows around till you cover black part of arm.

Now change colour to White.
Make 5 rows normal. Till you'd cover gauntlet part and only can see hand.
Make a row only on external loop.
Make 3 normal rows.
Now you have to left 3 st empties on external part. And make a normal row.
Do 4 rows more with mirrowed st and fasten off.

Make 2 of them.

To decorate you can sew a line on Edge of arm part (like in images).

C. Low black part.

White yarn. Mirrow st.

1. 30st chain
2. 3 rows 30st.
3. 1 row Increase 2 st at end.
4. 1 row
5. 1 row Increase 2st at end.
6. 1 row
7. Decrease 2st at end. 1row normal.
8. Decrease 2st at end. 1row normal.
9. Decrease 2st at end.
10. Decrease 1st at beggining.
11. Jeep decreasing 2st, 1st till you ver a row with 8st. Then fasten off.

It should have a winged form.

We do the same but mirrowed.
1. 8st chain
2. Increase 2 st at end the 1 row.
3. Increase 1 at beggining.
4. Keep doing this till you have 30st.
5. Then Increase 2st.
6. 1row
7. Increase 2st.
8. 1 row. Fasten off.

Now sew this parts to lower black part of coat. It should be like a penguin dress.

D. Back belt.

Make a chain to cover half part of black.
Make 1 row on upper and 1 row on lower part of chain. Like other belt. On blue yarn.

Sew each Edge inside black part of coat. (See images).

E. Details.
Make 3 8st chains + 1 row for each. Fasten.

Sew them like photo on black part.

Make a 30st chain + 1 row. Put It on front part like a cordon.

Yellow yarn

1. 6st Magic ring.
2. Increase 2st. 8st.
3. 4 rows.
4. Increase 2st. 10st
5. 6 rows.
6. Increase 2st. 12st.
7. 8 rows.
8. Increase 6st +1row. 18
9. Increase 6st + 1row. 24
10. Increase 6st +1row. 30
11. Increase 6st + 1row. 36
12. Increase 6st. 42
13. 3 rows.
14. Increase 6st. 48. Fasten.

Leave empty 12 st at front and put marks on both sides.
Use mirrow stitch.
Start on left Mark on left direction till right Mark.
1. Increase 1 st at beggining and at end. Increase more st wherever you want, no specific number, because we want a curly form.
2. Keep doing for 7 rows. Fasten
3. At empty space we do the same. 12 st row.
4. Increase 1 st at beggining and at end.
5. Keef doing for 7 rows. Fasten.

Sew four lines on each side to make It more real. (See images).

Belt.

Brown yarn.

48st chain.
Make rows as you wish. I made 8 but could be less.

Sew It to hat.

Last part is cut two eyes from felt and glue It to head.

And that's all.
