I have made this f1 pitstop diorama to show how 3D printing can do wonders, especially on printing anything you want. The steps are listed below.

Supplies

All you need is the Tinkercad website in the computer and a 3D printer. Link is listed below.

Making the Pitstop Parking

F1 Pitstop Parking.png
  1. For 1:43 scale cars, insert a cube and adjust it to 140mm in length, 47mm in breadth and 6mm in height.
  2. Make 4 cuboids measuring 20mm in length, 5mm in breadth and 3mm in height. Allow them to sit on the 1st rectangle on the 4 different corners facing the shortest sides.
  3. Make 4 cuboids measuring 10mm in length, 5mm in breadth and 3mm in height. Allow them to sit on the 1st rectangle overlapping the 1st 4 cuboids perpendicularly.

Making the Pitstop Pitbox

F1 Pitstop Pitbox.png
  1. Make a cuboid measuring 140mm in length, 140mm in breadth and 3mm in height.
  2. Make 4 cuboids measuring 10mm in length, 10mm in breadth and 70mm in height and put them in the 4 corners of the 1st cuboid.
  3. Duplicate the 1st cuboid and move it up to cover the 4 pillars to form the roof.
  4. Duplicate the cuboid in step 3 and make it a hole cuboid measuring 100mm in length and 100mm in breadth. Position it properly and group it to form the gap in the roof to play with the car easily.
  5. Make 3 walls measuring 120mm in length, 5mm in breadth and 67mm in height and position them to the 3 different sides except the front.

Combine Them Together

Combine the parking and pitbox together to form a nice pitstop diorama to display f1 cars in 1:43 scale. You can customize it to your liking. Enjoy!
