Hello everyone.

In this instructables I will show you how to make an origami F-15 raptor, its the easiest paper jet that you can make also it flies great and can go up to 30 feet and its pretty stable in the air.

The best thing about this aircraft is that it can fly pretty far with ease.

Supplies

  • Origami paper
  • scissors

Initial Folds

  • All you are going to need in order to fold the F-15 Raptor is an 8.5 X 11 inch sheet of paper and some scissors.
  • So we're going to begin by folding the right edge of the sheet to the left edge of the sheet basically folding the sheet in half.
  • After that we'll folding the top edge of the sheet to our folded edge basically just making a triangle at top and we'll flip it over and fold the other side to match as well.
  • Once done, we'll be opening the sheet and just folding the top point of the triangle to the bottom point as shown above.

Opening and Closing Everything

  • In this step we're going to fold back up from the bottom line of our triangle basically just flapping to reveal our triangle and before you really give it a crease just make sure the back creases are joining horizontally to the center creases.
  • Now we're going to unfold all the creases and we're going to fold the top edge of the triangle to the center but we're only going to creases part of it basically we're going to creases to the first edge and we're going to do same to the other side and you are going to notice a kite shape structure when temporarily joining the inner triangles.
  • Once done, we're going to fold down on our existing creases that we have made and fold back up on that existing creases again.

The Tricky Part

  • Now in this step we're going to swing the right edge of that existing crease to make a pocket by sliding your finger into the pocket and kind of force it open all the way to that creases basically forming a small triangle below the bigger one.
  • Do the same thing on the other side as well to form your wing.
  • Now we have to open the inner triangle of the bigger triangle to form a square on the top of it and we're going to fold back the small half triangle on the existing creases that we have made as shown above.

Folding in and Out

  • In this step we're going to make a fold using the bottom edge of the Bigger triangle So we're going to pull the crease forward and then we're going to pull it down.
  • Do the same thing on the other side as well.
  • Now we'll fold the top edge of the outer half triangle and it should look like as the pictures shown above.
  • Now we're just going to fold it in half on our existing center crease and we're going to make a cut for our radars about an inch from the back edge and then we'll cut out the remainder of the triangle and the second cut should be perpendicular to the first edge.
  • Now we are going fold our wings to the top edge to the bottom edge and the wing crease will go back following the same angle all the way back.
  • Do the same thing on the others side as well and we are done.

Done
