Eyeglasses Stand
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to introduce kids to woodworking and use it in daily life. They enjoyed using a jigsaw and sanding the wood for the first time. We used 4mm plywood, so it was relatively easier for them to work with.
Do not leave kids alone with tools that can hurt them. I was supervising the kids when they used any power tools or saw.

What Do We Need?
- 4mm Plywood
- Jigsaw
- Sandpaper 80, 180, 220 grit
- Acrylic paint
- Varnish
- Wood Glue
Template
- I have created a template
- Download and print on a page size "letter"
- Note that the base is 10cm long
Cutting
- Stick the template on a 4mm plywood
- Using a jigsaw or hand saw cut each piece
Legs
- Stack smaller wooden pieces and the back piece together as shown
- Stick them using PVA glue/ fevicol / super glue
- This gives a thicker base and makes it easier for it to stand
- And attach its nose
Finalizing
- Sand plywood with 80, 180 and 220 grit papers
- Paint the stand with brown acrylic paint
- Draw the eyes and nose
- Varnish it or apply a clear coat
- We are done, place your glasses on it and adore the beauty
