Eye-spy Christmas Ornaments
You will need:
Clear plastic ornaments
Miniature objects (look in train shops and doll house supply sections of craft stores) {shown: Santa hat, wreath, gingerbread man, lightbulb, snowflakes, candy canes, cardinal, bow, bell, pom-pom}
slim wooden dowel
buffalo snow flakes
Styrofoam snow (optional)
funnel

Step 1
Place miniature objects inside the ornament.
(You can use the clear glass ornaments, but I prefer the plastic because these are meant to be played with.)

Step 2
Using funnel, add snowflakes to the ornament. The buffalo flakes tend to clump up, so you may need to use a dowel to push them through the funnel. Styrofoam snow doesn't have this issue, but some of the heavier objects can stay buried in it.
Step 2A
Fill the ornament between 1/3 and 1/2 way. If you get too much snow, there won't be room to shake the objects to the top.
Step 3
Replace the top of the ornament, and shake it up.
Don't forget to include a tag, listing the objects to look for inside.
