So... I had some old PC coolers just laying around so i thought i should put them in good use... For now im using mine external cooler to cool my coffee when its too hot...but i guess u could use bigger one to cool your lap-top or similar...

This is my first instructable so dont be to harsh on me :)

Its quick and easy so i hope you will have fun making this one.

Things You Will Need

Fotografija0038.jpg
1. Old PC cooler (i used a small one)
2. Some old USB cable
3. Wire cutter (or similar)
4. Lighter
5. Nail polisher (too make it look good)

Preparing Cooler

Fotografija0039.jpg
Cut the power cord (part that connects cooler whit PC power supply).
Now take the lighter and burn down isolation from wires and strip it with your fingers or piece of paper.

Preparing USB

Fotografija0040.jpg
Cut USB at the end as shown on picture.
You wont be using green and white wire so u can cut them now so they don't get in you way.
Strip black and red from isolation using a lighter.

Connecting USB With Cooler

Fotografija0041.jpg
Connect wires (red with red, black with black) by twisting them.
Now in this part you can use that nail polisher to make isolation for those new connections (nail polisher is great isolation for wires).
I was lazy so mine does not look that good :)

Finishing Touches

If you have something more good-looking laying around you can mount it on it (or in it as well). I didnt so i used four small screws to mount it on old CD case(screws also prevent coffee mug from touching cooler).
Now connect it to your PC and enjoy the breeze :)
