Experimental NASA Chuck Glider

Hello everyone my name is foam fighters and today we are making a Nasa airplane chuck glider called the X-15
and here is the supplies list
1. Dollar tree foam board called Readi-Board
2. Xacto Knife
3. Black And yellow sharpie
4.hot glue gun
and thats it
Cutting Out the Pieces

Ok so for this step you have to cut the pieces out of the foam board and be careful not to cut yourself.
What i love about making airplanes is that you get to learn the history of the plane that your making
The Nasa X-15 was Piloted by Neil Armstrong and the plane goes 4,520 mph and its rocket powered
its named the fastest plane every made
Coloring the Plane Parts

So this aircraft is Jet black with yellow Nasa logos
grab your black and yellow sharpie and color the nasa logos first its pretty easy just do a yellow rectangle and puts the word nasa in it also cut the side view of the template in half
Color the Rest of the Parts

Now just finish coloring the parts like in the picture
Glue the Parts Together

now that your finished coloring the plane parts use your how glue gun to glue the parts together
Adjusting the CG (Center of Gravity)

This step is very important to get the CG right on the plane so it flies great and doesn't nose dive in the ground or do flips.use a usd penny and as you see on the photo where the red circle is thats where you put the penny
Congrats You Made a Plane Now Go Fly
