LED Cloud!

This is how to make a super cool light up cloud for your room. :)

Paper Lanterns

First you'll have to order, or go get, all the supplies. In total, the things I bought cost $22. For the lanterns, I recommend getting 5 of them. I used four, which works, but the cloud turned out to be more of a ball, since I didn't use an odd number.

LED Strip Lights

I ordered all my stuff off Walmart.com. The strip lights I got were only $5 and have been working great. You can get as long of a strip as you like, but the one I chose was 6ft.

Polyester Stuffing

You'll need quite a bit of this stuff.

Hot Glue/Gun

If you don't already have a hot glue gun, you'll need to get one. And get lots of glue sticks. Trust me, you can't have to much hot glue for this project.

Assembly

First tie all the lanterns together, and make sure to leave a loop at the top for hanging.

Then wrap the LEDs all around the lanterns, using the adhesive back, or hot glue.

Next, a little at a time, hot glue the polyester all over the lanterns, covering it completely.

Finishing Up

Then hang it on a hook in the ceiling, and get it all plugged in.

All Done!

Turn off all the lights and light it up! I was very happy with the way mine turned out, and its very relaxing too. :) I also got some LEDS to put on the wall opposite my cloud to contrast colors. Thats it, enjoy!
