Engraving a Leatherbound Notepad

I did this one at Techshop Pittsburgh on the laser cutter / engraver. The padfolio came from Walmart, and cost about 11 dollars. The 3rd image is the settings I used, tweaked from the settings that are stock for leather.

Teh entire project was outlined for the size of the whole notebook, and I did the clasp separate as a section by itself, with a bit of tape backing to protect the other already engraved surface. It is readable closed or open, for a bit more custom feel.
