Emotion Predictor
I made an emotion predictor. With this, you can spin it and it will tell you what emotion you are feeling.
I wanted to make this because my friend and I found this app at school. Then, I went home and entered the contest. It was the first thing that popped in my mind, so I made it.
Supplies
To make this, I used: cardboard, paper (Post It notes), wood, and a wooden dowel rod
Covering the Box With Paper
First, I glued paper to each side of the cardboard box to completely cover the box, alternating the colors pink and blue. Then I cut out a small square on each of the four sides.
Drawing the Emotions
Next, I drew each of my four emotions on a different piece of paper - Happy, Sad, Excited, and Angry. I glued each of my emotion faces onto the cardboard box. Each emotion going into one of their own squares that I had cut out in step 1.
Creating a Base and Spinning Element
Then, I used pieces of wood to create a base. I also used a dowel rod through the center of the box and secured it to the base. This allows my Emotions Predictor to spin.
Labels
Next, I added labels to the top of my Emotion Predictor. I also added paper to cover the wooden base
Adding Decoration
Lastly, I added small decorations on each side for each emotion face.
