Emergency Duct Tape Stash

Duct tape is great - unless you don't have any when you need it.

Here is a quick and simple way that I've been using for years to keep a little with me without the bulk of toting around a full roll. This is very handy to have for any outdoor adventure.

1. Duct Tape

2. Water bottle

3. 30 seconds of your time

Leaving the tape still on the roll - begin make a rip about 1/2 the width of the tape.

Stick the tape to the bottle, rotating the roll of tape around the bottle.

Be sure it over laps or the adhesive will not work later.

Make several passes around the bottle and rip it off.

Make a second tape roll with the other 1/2.

Tear of a piece when you need it!

The tape will last for months (or more) attached to your bottle with no issues.
