Embossed Skull

Hello friends,

today am gonna show how to do embossing using tin foil or aluminium foil.

for doing this you dont need any special tools or instruments.

lets dive in to this.

1,Tinfoil or aluminium foil

2, Soft wooden stick

3, Pen

4, Foam sheet

5, printout of any picture.

Foam paper

1, Place the foam sheet first.

2, place the tinfoil on top of the foam sheet

3, place the printout image on top of tinfoil.( see image 1)

4, draw the outline of the image using a pen, don't press hard, just drive it smoothly.

Note : What really happens is when we draw on a paper the impression mark gets punched in tin foil and since we have placed a foam at bottom the impression marks punched deeper on tinfoil.

Tinfoil will naturally expand itself when pushed hard so while embossing gently handle it.

1, Once you traced the image from paper to Foil it looks like image 1

2, Now remove the paper printout and start drawing the outline of image in tinfoil Just follow the old impression see image 2.

3, once completing the outline impressions it time to give deep texture to foil.

4, Take a soft wooden stick with pointed end and start rubbing inside the outline of image. refer image 3.

Note - just keep our head as example our forehead is bulged outward and our eyes is placed inward in our face, so while embossing we need to remember this basic logic and try to rub the particular areas accordingly.

5, image 5 and 6 will show how i have embossed the fire pattern, eyes, nose, teeth, and forehead.

1, initially it looks messy and improper but when we move forward step by step we can see the perfect 3d image.

2, just work on your instinct and give few touchup to skull to makesure it looks realistic.

3, take sissors and cut the outline of the embossed skull. image 2

Embossed foil skull is ready for showcase.

you can stick it on your bike or car as a logo, or stick in your mobile case.
