Do you have a junk drawer in your house? If so, here's an easy way to upcycle some of that junk! Little knick nacs (is that how you spell it...🤔) like marbles, rocks, or sea shells can easily be turned into beautiful wire pendants that are elegant to wear or make great gifts. If you want to learn how to turn some of your clutter into jewelry, you have come to the right place my friend.

Let's get started!

Supplies

All you need for this project is:

Marbles, Seashells, Rocks, etc
Needle nose pliers
Wire cutters
Wire
String/chain

Decide on Your Object and Cut Your Wire

Like I may have said before, any small object will work. However, in this Instructable I am going to use a marble. You can simply just adjust the size of the wire and shape of your wrapping to fit any object.

Once you have your object decided on, cut three pieces of wire that are all about the same length (4-6 inches). It's nice to have somewhat large pieces so that you have room for mistakes.

Start Your Pendant

Take one of the pieces of wire and wrap it around the other two pieces like this: (see above)

Wrap the Back Pieces

Twist the two back pieces partially together. This is the back of the pendant so it does not need to be pretty. The point of these strands is to keep your object from falling out the back.

Add Object and Secure It

Take your object and secure it in by bending the back to fit it and then wrapping two strands up its sides like this: (see above) secure them by twisting.

Add Decorative Swirls

To make the swirls you can use your finger to bend the rest of the wires into shape. If you want a really neat swirl you can use the needle nose pliers. Cut off any excess wire.

Make the Loop

Take those pliers and make a loop out of one of the top strands. Wrap any excess wire around the bottom of the loop. Cut off excess wire.

Finished!

Congratulations! You've finished your wire pendant. If you want, now is the time to add string or a chain to your pendant. Thanks for reading and if you liked this Instructable please give it a vote in the jewelry contest 😉
