My kid loves to play ukulele, and one day I've got an idea to make it electric.
Since strings are non-metal - piezo pickups should be used. I've found all necessary hardware on Aliexpress.

- Decide where to place elements, so they will not distract you.
- Cover places where you are going to make holes (to secure wood and paint cover)
- Drill hole for audio jack
- Place control knobs and mark safe distance
- Drill volume / tone holes

- Divide and fix strings with masking tape to make main hole accessible
- Take sewing thread and attach fishing cargo to it
- Insert thread cargo into the drilled hole and connect thread to the audio jack / control elements
- Extract connectors and fix them
- Mount control knobs
Stick Piezo Pickups

- Take off 3m tape cover
- Stick 1 piezo to the top inner side
- Stick 2 piezo on the bottom inner side

As result I've got fully functional electric ukulele.
Tested with Rocksmith real tone cable and Guitar Rig 6 (via asio4all)
