Electricity From Plants

download.jpg

Plants take in carbon-dioxide from the air to produce their own food. Water is absorbed by the roots. With the energy of light the water molecule is broken and some electrons are released. There are more electrons in the leaf as compared to the soil. Hence in this way be harvest the electrons in the plant.

First strip 2 pieces of wire.

Then take a single stapler pin and bend the one end as shown.

Next solder the pin and the wire with each other.

Implantation......

Insert one pin in the leaf ( if the leaf is thick else the stem is also alright ).

Then apply epoxy at the place of implantation to prevent the loss of water from that place.

The implant in the leaf will be the negative terminal.

Insert another implant the soil of the same plant, this will be the positive terminal.

Connecting

Look carefully at the led the inside part will look something like this.

Connect the terminals to the led(Solder it if needed).
