Eiffel Tower 3D Design in TinkerCad
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building, and the tallest structure in Paris. Its base is square, measuring 125 metres (410 ft) on each side. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to become the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years until the Chrysler Building in New York City was finished in 1930. It was the first structure to reach a height of 300 metres.
Drag a pyramid onto workplane and set its size to 40*45mm and height to 100mm.
Drag a ball and set its size to 70.87*62mm. Increase the height by 300mm as shown.
Create 3 duplicates and align them at the edge of the pyramid in all the directions. Group all the shapes together. The basic structure of the tower is created.
Add a round roof and set its size to 65.25*26mm. Select a hole option and align it at the centre of the pyramid. Create a duplicate and rotate it by 90 degrees and align it at the centre of the pyramid.
Add a block and set its size to 26*29.25mm and thickness to 4mm. Align the block at the centre of the pyramid and uplift it by 25mm and group altogether.
Add a roof shape and cut its edge. Set its size to 30.94*11.50mm. Align it above the block and select the hole option. Create a duplicate and rotate it by 90 degrees. Group all the shapes together.
