Egg Parachute
Hello everyone i´m going to teach you how to make an egg parachute, it is very easy and entertaimenting, let´s do it, The objective of this prototype designed in 3d is to make an egg fall from a specific height without the egg suffering any cracks and breaking, in addition to fighting against environmental factors, First of all, I first made a 3d prototype of how I wanted it to look, unfortunately since I don't have a 3d printer I couldn't print it directly, but making the 3d prototype allowed me to be able to direct the prototype in a more direct way and make it in less time, then I will show you the steps to do it manually
Supplies
• Cardboard
• Ruler
• Egg
• Round wooden sticks
• Wood glue
• Strings
• A plastic bag
• Temperas
• Scalpel
Collect the Materials
We collect the cardboard that we will use to make the round shapes of the prototype, after obtaining it, we make two holes in a single cardboard, the size depends on the rope, thread or other material that they have at their disposal, and in the other cardboard we measure the diameter that will have the eggs that we will put so that it can be sustained, after measuring we make the measurement on the cardboard and cut it so that the space where the egg goes is exact
Glue the Wooden Sticks
Here we begin to use the wooden sticks, the size of the sticks depends on how big we want the prototype to be, we glue them in such a way that we find stability with the two round cardboards that we had made, we use plenty of glue so that it remains very strong and resistant. (The cardboard where we made the two holes is on the top and where the hole for the egg is on the bottom)
Glue the Wooden Sticks to Cushion the Fall
After the sticks are resistant, we go to the bottom of our prototype and where we see the hole in the egg that we made, we are going to place some wooden sticks to help us cushion the fall and allow the egg not to break. the size of these sticks depends on how much cm is left of the egg after we put it in the hole, we put 4 around the egg.
Place the Rope and the Plastic Bag
To finish we place the ropes inside the two holes that we made in the upper part of our prototype and leaving it with a measure of 30 cm, we tie the rope to the handles of a plastic bag that will be our parachute that will help us to go down. the speed to our prototype, and so it would be done manually.
Note (If you wish, you can decorate it as you wish, placing paintings, pencil drawings, among other things)
