Where Gobi Manchurian recipes are rocking the Chinese menu cards I am here with a different type of Manchurians named as Egg Manchurian, unlike Gobi Manchurian where cauliflower is directly put into the oil in this Egg Manchurian we will boil the egg in a different manner which makes this a unique recipe.

Manchurian doesn't need any introduction, this Indo Chinese food is usually prepared with a vegetable or a meat. Marinated meat or veggies deep fried, then sautéed with onions, bell peppers along with a mixture of sauces makes this wonderful appetizer or side dish. Manchurians goes awesome with fried rice or else with a bowl of hot piping rasam rice. Recently I tried making this egg Manchurian with hard boiled eggs and they came out extremely delicious

So let's get it started.

Take a bowl and break two to three eggs into it .

Add a spoon of salt and a pinch of pepper into this and mix it viciously until the yellow and white gets totally mixed up , I recommend a stirrer for this task.

Stir it properly so that salt and pepper gets evenly spread.

Take a bowl that is larger than the previous one and add a small amount of water into it.
You can also use pressure cooker for this particular task.

Now place the other bowl that containing the egg into this bowl and cover it with a plate. After some time

You can see the boiled egg had become a panner like texture .
You can test it by keeping a spoon into it , by piercing and such that no egg should stick to the spoon if its completely boiled. Noe take out that boiled part, it will be a little spongy and smooth. Cut it into cubes by first cutting it horizontally then vertically.

Keep these cubes aside.

Mix it well until no crumbs of the cornstarch will be there .

I suggest you to mix it well using your hands.

To the bowl containing batter add those cubes of boiled egg and mix it gently so that the soft cubes won't break.
Mix it well so that all the batter is evenly mixed with the cubes.

Pour oil into the pan and start heating it on the stove.

As the oil gets heated up add these cubes into the oil and deep fry them.

Now you have egg pockets, wait it's not yet over.
