Never have to peel boiled eggs again!!! Fast and Easy!

Supplies

I used my trusty INSTANT POT, but you can make it with any pressure cooker, OR even on the stove top in any deep pot that you can fit the cooking pan-bowl/cake pan into.

A WIRE WRACK will also be needed in whatever pot you use.

A ROUND cooking pan or baking pan, metal, glass or ceramic will work.

INGRIDIENTS

  • 6-12 eggs
  • a little cooking spray for the pan
  • 1 cup water

EASY STEPS:

  • Put water into the Instant Pot or whatever pot you are using.
  • Place wire rack into pot.
  • Spray the cooking or baking pan with cooking spray and place pan on top of the wire rack.
  • Crack eggs one at a time into the pan.

FOR INSTANT POT:

  • Put the lid on and lock into place. Make sure knob on lid is set on "sealing" and not "venting".
  • Use PRESSURE COOK program and set the timer for 5 minutes. After it comes to pressure and the 5 minutes are done, wait and let it natural release for 3 minutes. Then VENT and let all pressure release before carefully opening the lid.

FOR OTHER POTS ON STOVETOP:

  • Put the lid on the pot and cook for 10-15 minutes, depending on how many eggs you have. Turn off stove but DO NOT LIFT LID, and leave for an additional 5-10 minutes so eggs can continue cooking with the steam.

  • Pull out wire rack and pan with eggs in it carefully, using a lifter, towel or oven mitts. Drain any water from pan and invert pan over a plate or serving platter and tap bottom of pan to release egg form. 'Cake' can be cut into slices and served, or even chopped up to make egg salad.
