Egg Beatening Shaker
When cooking, we often want beaten eggs. Usually, this is made with a bowl and a hand mixer, but this is troublesome.
For example,
- You need to be careful not to spill when stirring
- It is tricky to make it fine.
- The hand mixer gets in the way after mixing is finished
- The egg mixture leaks from the back of the bowl or mixer.
In order to solve these problems, I have created an “Egg Beatening Shaker".
With this,
- No spills because the eggs are placed in an airtight container
- All you have to do is shake it anyway
- No extra parts
- No leaking due to the optimized spout
and the above problems are completely solved.
Supplies
- 3D printing filament
- Food Compatible Resins
- Disposable Cup
- Disposable Brush
- Dsposable Sticks
CAD Modeling
Making a model for 3D Printing. I used Fusion360.
The cup size is large enough to contain 3 eggs.
3D Printing
Printing the 3D Model. I used Bambu Lab P1P. Printing profile is as follows:
- Resolution : 0.2mm
- Infill : 30%
- Filament : PETG
You can use files bellow and print them.
Resin Painting
Painting food compatible resin to protect the surface of the 3D printed model.
Because 3D printed object has tiny slits on its surface, we need to cover them up. Also, resin will strengthen thin parts.
Printing procedure is as follows:
- Paint inside of the parts
- Leave it with the lid closed for about 12 hours
- Open and wait for resin gets hard
- Paint outside
You should use disposable cup, brush, sticks here. The resin is not creanable.
The wait time at step 2 depends on the resin you used. In my case, the resin will take 24 ~ 36 hours to get hard. So I open them after 12 hours from painting.
Also, step 2 and 3 is neccesary for getting the sealing function. Do close the shaker once.
Cooking
This product is very easy to use.
Crack the egg into the pot and shake for about 30 seconds.
That‘s all! You can get nicely beatened egg. Happy cooking!
