Working Principle

The air enters the stove by the low holes, get hot along the chimney and enters the combustion chamber. Then the exhaust fumes reach the second stage, heat the water container and escape by the high holes.

You just need:

  • 2 big cans
  • 2 smaller cans
  • 1 instrument to make holes (can opener?)

Low Stage

  • Take one big and one small can.
  • Open them and eat the content.
  • Drill the big can all around (low end).
  • Cut a circle in the big can, at the small can diameter (high end)(image1).
  • Drill the small can all around.
  • Press fit the small can in the big.

High Stage

It is the same as the low stage except that the inside can is not drilled and the big can holes are high.

  • Take one big and one small can.
  • Open them and eat the content.
  • Drill the big can all around (closed side) (image 1).
  • Cut a circle in the big can, at the small can diameter (image2).
  • Press fit the small can in the big (image 3, 4).

Utilisation

Place the two stages side by side. Fill the high stage with water and the low stage with dry wood sticks.

Fire the wood and add more wood when you can. When it is started and you have red embers, place the high stage on top of the low one.

Wait 3 minutes and drink your hobo tea.
