Eco-friendly, Camouflage Hat
In this instructible I made a eco-friendly, camouflage cap out of steel wire and willow vines.
Supplies
Tools
- Pliers
- Wire cutters
- Measuring tape (that can measure your head)
Materials
- Willow vines or veld grass
- Steel wire
Making the Outline
- Measure around your head
- Take your wire and do the same measurement except add another 5 cm
- Cut your wire
- Then using your pliers twist the extra 5 cm of wire around the other piece of wire
- Make sure the end of your wire is facing out of the circle where your head goes so it doesn't scratch your head
- Then put it on your head and adjust it to make yourself comfortable
- Then from one side of the wire to the other measure over the top of your head
- Then measure it on your wire and add another 10 cm and cut it
- Then attach it to both sides of your wire (using the two extra 5 cm on both sides) and twist it on.
- Do the same on the other side
- You can create a little over hang on your cap if you want to
