The Amazon Echo devices have amazing capabilities and can be pretty useful tool. The Amazon Echo Dot series is no exception to this, but for one thing: compared to its bigger brother, the Amazon Echo, the Dot's speaker doesn't really have the same power. With this design, I've made a "clip-on cover" for the BOSEBuild that can house the small Echo Dot, basically giving the Dot a much more powerful speaker. This design is compatible with both the Gen. 1 and 2 of the Dot. The circle on top, where the Dot will sit, has a diameter of 3.35in. This is 0.05in. wider than the actual Dot. I've put this minuscule margin in (1.27mm) to give room for the expanding material during the printing process. The depth of the opening is 1in., which will leave 0.3-0.5in of the Dot Gen 2 and 1 respectively open for the microphone and user interaction. As shown in the images, there's a cutout in the back to allow the power and audio ports to still be available. This design was made in Fusion 360
