EasyAnd Fast Way to Learn a Language! (Alphabets)
It’s great to learn new languages, a habit that is proven to sharpen the brain. But this is not easy. Learning languages on apps and websites is good, but it would be even better to have a type of reference sheet for alphabets. That is why I designed a keyboard with all the letters of Hangul (Korean alphabet) to make it easier to learn. (I do not know Korean, and this can be done no matter your skill level in a language.) You can make this with a language you want to learn too.
Supplies
- Sheet of blank paper
- Pencil
- Marker(s)
- Pen
- A pair of scissors
Shaping
Fold the paper in half twice and use your scissors to curve the edges.
Sketching Letter Slots and Keyboard
Sketch out a keyboard as shown in the sample above. Based on the language you are learning, add or take away the number of keycaps/ovals. You may ignore the numbers that are supposed to be above the letters for now.
Add the uppercase, delete, enter, space bar, numbers, and emoji buttons as shown.
Tracing
Trace everything with marker *except for what is inside uppercase, numbers, emoji, and enter buttons*.
I retraced with purple marker to thicken and correct a couple mistakes.
Letters
Write the letters of your alphabet onto the keyboard with the pen. In the little gaps in between, you can translate the letters into your familiar keyboard language.
You can search up a reference of your alphabet.
Also trace the rest of the keyboard left out in the previous step.
If you want, you can use pencil first before tracing on top with pen.
(I had to redo mine because of a mistake)
All Done!
And that is the end of the project! There are still 3 other empty squares on the paper to make more of these in other languages!
