Easy to Make Reflective Tape Pants

IMG_0137.jpg
This is a project I came up with because I was strapped for cash but wanted to be safe riding my bike back and forth from grad school. Enjoy!

Things you will need for this project are:

Relective Tape: 3$
Scissors
Pants
Clothing Iron

Cut and Shape

Cut the Tape to the size you like. Pants are easy because you can just do a rectangle that will be applied along the hem of the pants.

Iron On!

Have your Iron on at cotton high. Press the iron to the reflective tape [shiny or glue side down] for 30 seconds.

Done

As soon as you are done with the reflective tape, its all done! I will admit that there are companies out there that will sell you pants with this stuff in the cuffs that are much nicer looking but this serves as a quick and safe way to ride late at night. If you iron the tape to the inside the pant cuff, it will be easy to disguise later.

Shoes Too!

I also did it on my old vans. It works so well I think. Hopefully this helps some of you late night riders.
