Easy to Make Glow N the Dark Costume

When it comes to Halloween costumes for 4 kids who are only 5 years apart, you look for something that can creatively be made with their help. When the kids were 5,6,7, & 9 years old, I thought what could we all make together. One of the criteria was make it easy for me to see them at all times and find easy. So, I came with this economic glow in the dark ghost costume and sometimes the kids called it ‘Ghlost’. It takes less than 15 minutes to make and cost under $1.00 to make one. Supplies Needed for Easy Halloween Costume:

• 1 White Trash Bag
• 1 Package of 100 Halloween Glow in the Dark Tattoos
• 1 Small Bowl
• 1 Cup of Water
• 1 Pair of Scissors
• Paper Towels (use as needed to dry off tattoos)

Optional: Hanger for Costume

How to make a Halloween Costume in 15 minutes:

Layout the bag and smooth it out straight.

Take the Halloween tattoos out of the package.

Spread the designs out, so designs are visible, making it easy to pick and choose.

Pour 1 cup of water in small bowl.

Pick out one design and place in water for 30 seconds, then place on white bag and push down for 5 seconds.

Use paper towel to dry off tattoo and pull off tab leaving tattoo in place.

Repeat this process 19 times randomly placing 3 to 4 fingers apart.

How to cut the holes to wear the Costume:

Take the bowl and cut 2-3 fingers around the bowl.

Take both hands and spread out from the top of bag. Make the first cut one 1/2- inch to 1-inch in length.

Then, take hand spread out and make second cut 1/2-inch to 1-inch in length. Cut across to other cut,

Repeat the process on the opposite side of bag. Pull off cut pieces and trim up if needed.

This easy to make costume can be stored on a hangar and easily found as it glows in the dark.
