Great.jpg

This tutorial will help you make a ninja star. Can be done by even beginners!

Supplies

Supplies -

Two Pieces of Paper

Scissors (Optional)

Glue (Optional)

Fold Rectangle Into Square

IMG_0057.jpg

Take the Rectangular piece of Paper (if it is) and fold it so that the right (or left) reaches the left(or right) edge. If it is already a square, you can skip this step.

Tear the Square

IMG_0058.jpg

Take the rectangle with a fold and tear the folded square out ( or cut it with scissors)

Fold the Square in Half

IMG_0059.jpg

As the step says, fold the square in half like so

Fold the Edges of the Square Inwards

IMG_0060.jpg

Open the square and fold each edge to reach the halfway point for both sides

Fold the Square in Half (again)

IMG_0061.jpg

Fold the rectangle that you get in half

Repeat All the Steps So Far With the Other Piece of Paper

IMG_0062.jpg

Take the other piece of paper and repeat the same steps to get two identical pieces of papers - like so

Fold Both Papers in Half

IMG_0063.jpg

Fold both papers in half to get a halfway point whose use will be in the next step

Take the Top Left Corner and Fold It So That the Left Edge Reaches the Half Way Point

IMG_0064.jpg

This is where it starts to get tough.... Take the paper and use the halfway point you got as a reference to where the left edge goes

Fold the Other End the Opposite Way

Odd1.jpg

Repeat the same step with the other end, but make sure that both ends face opposite ways

Repeat the Same Step With the Other Paper, But the Opposite Way

IMG_0066.jpg

Take the other piece of rectangular paper and fold it so that the top faces the same way as the others bottom and the bottom should end up facing the same way as the others top. It should something like this, one like a 'S' shape, and the other like a 'Z' shape.

Flip the Paper and Fold the Excess

IMG_0068.jpg

After you flip the paper, you will see two squares. Fold the squares diagonally in half in such a way that it's edge faces the opposite way the parallelogram (shape between the excess) faces

Repeat the Same Step With the Other Peice

IMG_0069.jpg

Repeat the same step with the other piece of paper

Fold the Triangles Inwards (both)

IMG_0070.jpg

Fold the triangles that you get inwards in such a way that it covers the parallelogram

Flip the Paper (for Only One) and Place One on Top of the Other

IMG_0071.jpg

Place the 'S' over the 'Z' but make sure that you only flip the 'S' backwards. It should look something like this.

The Hardest Step... Put the Triangles Inside the Folds

IMG_0072.jpg

On both ways, you should see that there are two big triangles open on their base. Over here, put the triangles inside the folds in such a way that they don't collide with each other, but are instead touching each other's edges. Once you put all 4 of them in, it should look as follows ---

The Final TRIANGLE!!

IMG_0073.jpg

Once you completed the previous step, all the folds should be in and it should look something like this, a Ninja star with four sections if you look either way.
