Have you ever wanted to make a friendship bracelet but felt like it would be too hard or take too long? Well you’ve come to the right place! I found the two easiest, quickest friendship bracelets and tried to make the most easy to understand tutorial I could. Enjoy!

Supplies

2 strands of color #1
2 strands of color #2
2 strands of color #3
Tape or a Clip

Choose and Cut Your Thread!

Choose three colors, you are going to need two strands of each color. To measure them, hold the tip of the thread to your nose and pull the string out to the tip of your extended hand. Tie a knot on one side leaving an approximately three inch tail.

Here We Go!

Clip or tape the bracelet to a flat, sturdy surface. Choose what will be your first color (color #1) mine is yellow. Take one strand of one and knot it in a Basic friendship knot. Refer to the video for how to do a basic friendship knot. Continue this knot until the yellow section is 2 cm long.

Braiding!

Now, you are going to split the threads into 3 sections according to their color and braid them for 2 cm, the same length as the knotted section. To make sure the braid doesn’t come out you can immediately start on the next knotted section.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 Until You Have Reached the Desired Length

Almost There!

Once you get it as long as you want it ( I made mine anklet length) tie a normal knot at the end.

Optional Sixth Step

If you want to really make it look finished and take the extra step you can braid off the ends and then tie it so you can tie around your wrist and make it look nicer.
